The ski resort Ski Welt located in Austria is one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in the world. Söll is a lively resort lying at the foot of the famous Hohe Salve mountain in the Ski Welt. It’s the main resort in the Ski Welt and is great for groups of mixed ability skiers. This resort is a favourite, especially with families, intermediates, and party lovers. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 284 km of slopes available.

Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is a resort area near the junction of France, Switzerland, and Italy. At the base of Mont Blanc, the highest summit in the Alps, it's renowned for its skiing. There is a cable car up to the 3,842 m Aiguille du Midi. Constructed in 1955, it was then the highest cable car in the world and remains the highest vertical ascent cable car in the world.

Les Deux Aples
Les Deux is a ski resort in the French Isère département. The village sits at 1,650 m (5,413 ft) and lifts run to 3,600 m (11,811 ft). It has the largest skiable glacier in Europe and is France's second oldest ski resort behind Chamonix. The resort is a favourite for British skiers and open for most of the year. The resort opens from mid-June to the end of August and again for French half term week at the end of October, before firing up the lift system for winter from the end of November until late April.
